Its Story▾ Copper craftsmanship has a long history in Anatolia. Gaziantep's distinctive feature in this field is that the products are manufactured as a single piece (monolithic) without using joining processes such as soldering or welding. How It Is Made▾ In copper craftsmanship, ingot copper is melted, cast into molds, and passed through rollers to reach the desired thickness. After the annealing process, it is cut and shaped on spinning lathes. Once decorations are made using a steel chisel and hammer, the final stage is completed through cleaning, polishing, varnishing, and aging processes.
